Ms Debra Bakker
Independent Non-Executive Chair

Debra Bakker joins Terra Metals as Independent Non-Executive Chair, bringing extensive experience across mining, commodity trading, corporate finance and capital markets.

Debra currently serves on the boards of Yancoal Australia (ASX) and Ten Sixty Four Limited and recently concluded a decade of service on the Board of IGO Limited (ASX). Her distinguished career includes senior leadership roles with Commonwealth Bank, Standard Bank and Barclays.

As Terra progresses the Dante Project toward development, Debra’s governance, financing and strategic leadership experience will provide invaluable guidance for the Company’s next phase of growth.

Mr Thomas Line
CEO and Managing Director

Mr Line is an experienced executive with over 14 years in resource development and large-scale mining production experience. His operational experience spans across grade control, resource modelling, mineral processing, geometallurgy, greenfields and brownfields exploration, and pit to port reconciliation and logistics. Mr. Line left his career in big mining in 2019 to focus on project generation, Greenfields exploration, and discovery. Since this time, Mr. Line has spent six years leading ASX- listed junior exploration companies in Australia in CEO and Managing Director roles.

Mr Jeff Quartermaine
Independent Non-Executive Director

Jeff Quartermaine joins Terra Metals as an Independent Non-Executive Director, bringing more than three decades of mining industry experience.

Most recently, Jeff served as Managing Director and CEO of ASX-100 gold producer Perseus Mining (ASX), where he led the transformation of the company into a highly profitable multi-mine, multi-jurisdictional gold producer.

Jeff’s extensive operational, executive and board experience will be instrumental as Terra advances the Dante Project through resource growth, economic studies and development planning.

Dr Jennifer Purdie
Independent Non-Executive Director

Dr. Jennifer Purdie joins Terra Metals as an Independent Non-Executive Director, bringing exceptional technical, operational and leadership expertise across large-scale mining and industrial operations.

Most recently, Jennifer served as Asset President – Olympic Dam & Copper South Australia for BHP, where she led significant operational improvements and positioned the business for future growth.

Her extensive experience in project development, operations and technical leadership will be highly valuable as Terra advances the development of its flagship Dante Project.

Mr Haydn Smith
Non-Executive Director

Mr Smith is the Founder and Managing Director of a bio-carbon business having previously worked as a Portfolio Manager at Tribeca Investment Partners. Prior to that Mr Smith had a 20-year career at Macquarie Bank where he was an Executive Director and Global Head of the bank’s Mining Finance Group.

Mr Mark Freeman
Company Secretary

Mr Freeman is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years’ experience in corporate finance, capital markets, governance and the resources sector. His experience spans exploration, project development, equity capital markets and corporate transactions, having been directly involved in raising more than $750 million in equity capital for ASX-listed companies. Mr Freeman was previously a director of Dante Resources Pty Ltd and was involved in the original transaction under which the Dante Project was acquired by Terra Metals Limited.

Mr Ben Hammond
Chief Development Officer

Mr Hammond is a geologist with an executive MBA, and most recently Technical Director of the worlds largest mining and engineering consultancy firm: TSX-listed WSP Global Inc. Former Managing Director & CEO of ASX-listed Centrex Metals, with more than 22 years across mine operations, development studies and project finance, including lead technical advisory roles for development banks, commercial banks and mining funds.

Mr Barry Jones
General Manager – Exploration & Operations

Mr Jones is an exploration geologist with an MBA and over 25 years’ experience from greenfields to resource definition. Barry is a leading expert in layered mafic PGE-Cu-Ni exploration and resource development. Having worked on most of the known layered mafic systems globally, Barry most relevantly spent 9 years with Anglo American Platinum leading large-scale exploration on the Northern Limb of South Africa’s Bushveld Complex with a core focus on developing the worlds largest open pit PGM-Cu-Ni sulfide deposit – Mogalakwena (111 Moz ore reserve1).

Dr Evan Kirby
Advisory Metallurgist

Dr Evan Kirby has over 40 years’ international experience in metallurgy, spanning design, commissioning and operations across gold, copper, vanadium, lithium and PGM projects. He has held senior roles with Bechtel, Minproc and Anglo Platinum, and brings deep expertise in metallurgical testwork and process development for complex polymetallic systems, including those of the Bushveld Province in South Africa.

Mr Ken Lomberg
Independent Resource Consultant

Mr. Lomberg is a leading expert in the estimation of Mineral Resources relating to layered intrusions such as the Bushveld Complex, with over 38 years experience. Mr Lomberg is also Registered Professional Natural Scientist with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions, which is a Recognised Professional Organisation (RPO). Mr. Lomberg is the Director – Geology and Resources of Pivot Mining Consultants Pty Ltd.

Dr Solomon Buckman
Advisory Geologist

Dr Sol Buckman is an economic geologist with over 30 years’ experience in mineral systems research and exploration across Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Formerly Associate Professor and Associate Head of School at the University of Wollongong, he has worked on Archaean shear-zone and BIF-hosted gold, porphyry-skarn Cu-Au and ophiolite-related deposits, and now leads geological modelling and targeting for the Dante Project.

Mr Scott Halley
Chief Geochemist

Mr Halley has consulted more than 150 mining and exploration companies in more than 25 countries in the last 14 years. Having worked as an exploration geologist for 20 years prior to specialising as a geochemist, Scott understands how geochemistry can be practically and effectively applied to exploration and mining problems. Mr Halley received a BSc (Hons Class I) from the University of Tasmania (1982), and a PhD from Australian National University (1987).
